Opening with our client for a Field Service Pump Mechanic.
The Field Service Pump Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing both major and minor repair work on a variety of equipment including motors, pumps, hydraulic equipment, compressors, controls, valves, and related machinery. Additionally, this role will involve performing routine and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and longevity of equipment.
Responsibilities
Inspect and diagnose issues with motors, pumps, hydraulic equipment, compressors, controls, valves, and related equipment.
Perform major and minor repair work on the aforementioned equipment.
Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, engines, and compressors.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to solve complex mechanical problems.
Ensure all work complies with company standards and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding the status of their equipment.
Travel to client sites as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in mechanical or industrial maintenance is a plus.
Proven experience as a pump mechanic or similar role, preferably in a field service capacity.
Strong knowledge of motors, pumps, hydraulic equipment, compressors, controls, valves, and related equipment.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
Proficient in performing routine and preventative maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.
