Requisition ID: 165697nnPosition SummarynnLay-out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems, pipe supports or related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.nnExperience LevelnnIntermediatennPrimary Responsibilities and Dutiesnn• Reading isometric drawings, taking measurements, fabricating and installing piping efficientlynn• Align, bolt, and clamp together components of fabricated metal products to secure in position for weldingnn• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications by welding and threading jointsnn• Position and secure materials and workpieces during installation; and install all other items in accordance with the applicable plans and specificationsnn• Distinguish varying thickness and types of metal materialsnn• Manually handle and securely apply rigging equipmentnn• Operate tools and equipment including: beveling machines, cut-off grinders, hammers, torches, magnetic drills, and a Saw-Zallnn• Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe, and supportsnn• Hydro test piping systemsnnQualificationsnn• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.nn• Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.nn• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.nn• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.nnRequirementsnnThe person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/industrial site, so should be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawlnnConstantly works in a construction environment and will be exposed to changing outdoor weather conditionsnnWork irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as requirednnMay be required to use ladders/mechanical platforms/manlifts/scaffold to access required equipment/work areas (may exceed 200 feet), so must be able to climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders and scaffoldsnnMove and work in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven surfacesnnMust be able to complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environmentnnMay be required/able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds across construction/industrial sitennMust have required toolsnnU.S. Driver's License may be requirennObserve and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as requirednnAbility to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testingnnCompensation Range: $24.75/hr to $28.75/hr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as licenses/certifications, experience, skillset, and location)nnTIC offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision plans for employees and eligible dependents, paid time off, a voluntary wellness program, an employee assistance program, life insurance, disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match.nnThis posting will be active from: 12/17/2024-12/19/2024nnWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
