Ballast Construction is seeking a qualified Construction Superintendent to add to our growing team. We are a rapidly growing company and are looking to build a team that will grow along with us.

We are a Coral Gables, FL based Commercial construction company, We specialize in all types of commercial construction ranging from Healthcare, office, Industrial, and Multifamily.
n
Job Responsibilities
n
n- Interpreting plans and specifications.
n- Works closely with architects and other professionals to execute projects.
n- Schedules meetings with clients, site managers, and staff.
n- Navigates and understands building codes.
n- Maintains Project Document Control and travels to building sites as required.
n- Works closely with Project Managers and update Project Schedule.
n- Stays up to date with safety codes and improvements in construction
n- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
n
n
n- Allocate resources for assigned projects
n- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
n- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
n- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
n
n
Qualifications:
n
n- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
n- Familiarity with PROCORE construction management software
n- Strong leadership qualities
n- Strong negotiation skills
n- Deadline and detail-oriented
n
n
Work Hours and Benefits: This position is a full time position.
n

Education and Experience Requirements:
n
n- A bachelor’s degree in Construction management or a related field is .
n- At least 5 years of related experience is required.
n- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Products required.
n- Experience using PROCORE Project Management software .
