We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team! SGS, LLC is an Oklahoma based General Contractor / Design-Builder. We currently have openings for qualified personnel on a NEW commercial construction project located in Fort Johnson (Fort Polk), Louisiana.

Responsibilities:
n
n- Involved in all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
n- Ability to plan for and assign resources as applicable for projects
n- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
n- Management/Enforcement of SGS’s Safety Program and Security Policies
n- Coordination and scheduling of all Subcontractors and/or Vendors
n- Recruitment and efficient management of all on-site SGS workmen
n- Maintaining inventory and efficient management control of tools and equipment
n- Conduct regular progress and/or coordination meetings with trade subcontractors
n- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, government officials, etc.
n- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:
n
n- Must have minimum of 7 years of experience as a Superintendent on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects
n- Must have current OSHA 30-Hour and CPR/First Aid certifications
n- Must be familiar with requirements of the EM 385 1-1, 2014 version
n- 40Hr EM385 Certification and 24Hr Competent Person Certification;
n- Knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, requires applicants to be of able body to assist in performing certain portions of the work, and to manage and schedule subcontractors
n- Experience in working with and understanding Primavera project schedules is a plus
n- Experience with USACE RMS software
n- Thorough knowledge and understanding of construction means and methods
n- Strong leadership qualities
n- Deadline and detail-oriented
