JOB SUMMARY
As a Certified Behavior Technician, you will work directly with clients on the Autism spectrum, implementing treatment programs designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) either in the home or school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to enhance communication, daily living skills, social skills, play skills, and more.
- Manage and support clients with challenging behaviors.
- Provide assistance in homes, schools, and community settings.
- Utilize creative methods to keep clients engaged and motivated.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, families, and the therapy team.
- Collaborate with therapists, caregivers, and educational staff for seamless program implementation.
- Follow guidance from supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA).
- Accurately track client progress using Central Reach.
- Complete required training and compliance activities.
- Maintain organized records of appointments, adhering to billing and payroll processes.
- Ensure adherence to patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance, and confidentiality.
- Travel to client homes and other service locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
- Previous experience of 1+ years is preferred.
- Familiarity with general ABA practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
