This is a 3-month contract to hire positionnnShift Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMnnPay: Based on experience and Tech levelnn$18-$22 for Tech lv 1nn$ 23$-27 for Tech lv 2nn$28+ for Tech lv 3nnJob Duties/Responsibilities:nnTakes customer orders from sales department or branch manager, fills orders and delivers to customernnProvide an experience for the customer that will drive them back for future businessnnInstalls equipment if requirednnFor heating equipment, runs temporary hoses from equipment to hook-up to natural gas or propane sourcesnnRuns flexible ductwork as required for temporary applicationnnUses appropriate PPE at all times and fall protection as requirednnPerforms equipment start-upnnPerforms service repairs as requirednnWhen customer is finished with equipment, picks up equipment from customer location, noting what equipment was returnednnPerforms equipment reconditioning as per reconditioning work instructions for that type of equipment, and completes any checklist as requirednnPuts equipment away in Branch warehousennPerforms any other duties as assignednnAdditional Duties for Higher Level Technicians:nnAble to clean chillers and large air conditioning equipmentnnAble to pull required accessories from inventory to ship with chiller or large AC ordernnAssists and/or loads chillers and large air conditioning equipmentnnAble to start-up and troubleshoot oil fired heating equipmentnnAble to troubleshoot and repair Air Conditioning equipment including repairing and charging refrigerant circuitsnnAids and supports the installation of air-cooled chillers and large package HVAC rental equipmentnnEducation/Skill Requirements:nnAnywhere from 0-5 years’ experiencennA high school diploma / GED is requirednn2-year HVAC certificate and/or Universal Refrigeration Certificate or equivalent experience is preferred for high level techniciansnnKnowledge and use of Microsoft computer products or other comparable systems required, and experience with an MRP or Rental software package desired.nnMust be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test to be able to drive our vehicles.nnMust be able to pass a motor vehicle report test (MVR) and possess a valid driver’s licensennMust possess the ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. of equipmentnnPay Details: $18.00 to $28.00 per hournnBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
