Job Title: Power BI Developer Supply Chain & Logistics
Number of Roles: 1
Contract Duration: 6 months
Potential for Conversion: embecta is always seeking top talent. However, nothing is promised. The contractor that starts will need to prove themselves in this role. If their contributions are significant this will be noted and embecta will be happy to revisit the possibility of conversion.
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Parsippany, NJ) Needs to respond to emails promptly (*within 12 hours)
Job Type: Fulltime (Contract)
CW's Max hourly Rate: $80.00 per hour
Schedule & Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week, MF First Shift
OT: If needed and approved from HM
Travel: No travel at this time.
Pre hire requirements: NO drug screen. No Physical/Lifting Test. Yes to background check JG3
HM's Tips and what he needs 5 years min experience. Medical Device Industry is NOT required. No job hopping well presented job history. Someone who can understand and has had experience interpreting the language of Suppy Chain KPIs specifically and can translate them to Power BI. HM will need to hear or see examples of this experience that has been done before. The important part is to translate the Supply Chain business KPIs and conform that to PowerBI. Excellent communication is a requirement. Experience with KPIs, data sphere, Power BI and queries that are prebuilt and ready for action on necessary. Any examples of work previously done will bring you to the top for submissions! Capgemini experience is required whether the candidates likes it or doesn't like it the HM wants to hear their input. For this req, examples and any artifacts of proven experience is needed. Purpose of Role: Join our dynamic Supply Chain team as a Power BI Developer where you will harness data from our data lake, integrating inputs from our ERP and thirdparty vendors to create compelling, informative visualizations that drive business decisions.
Purpose of Role: Join our dynamic Supply Chain team as a Power BI Developer where you will harness data from our data lake, integrating inputs from our ERP and third-party vendors to create compelling, informative visualizations that drive business decisions.
Responsibilities:
Quickly assimilate and extract relevant supply chain data from our extensive data lake.
Develop, design, and maintain advanced Power BI reports and dashboards specific to supply chain metrics.
Utilize complex data sources in a Supply Chain context, including but not limited to inventory levels, logistics performance, and vendor management.
Transform raw data into meaningful insights through engaging visuals and interactive reports.
Work closely with Supply Chain stakeholders to identify key data points and metrics for visualization.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analytics solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum of (Specify Number) years of dedicated experience in Power BI development, with a focus on supply chain analytics.
Proven track record of working with ERP data and thirdparty vendor information.
Strong foundation in supply chain and logistics operations, principles, and best practices.
Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and other relevant data retrieval and analysis languages.
Experience in creating custom visuals and utilizing advanced Power BI functionalities.
Excellent problemsolving skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
NicetoHave:
Prior experience in a data driven supply chain or logistics role.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, SQL Data Warehouse, and familiarity with ETL concepts.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management.
