We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk with a focus on Accounts Payable to join our team in High Point. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices from start to finish, including data entry, coding, and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Enter invoices into the ERP system and ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and resolve any payment issues.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing accounts payable reports and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications: - Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is an excellent role within a great, international company. Pay is dependent on experience with a range of $45-50,000 on a permanent basis.
Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year
