As a Payroll Coordinator you will compile and record employee time and payroll data. You will be responsible for reviewing time sheets, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
How You'll Help - Collect, compile and enter payroll data for over 200 plus employees using payroll software weekly
- Review and verify source documents
- Calculate and post payroll deductions
- Process payroll by established deadlines
- Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors
- Address employee's pay-related concerns and provide accurate payroll information
- Ensure company confidentiality
- Filing and scanning of payroll document.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
- Works well with others within department and the company
- Perform various weekly and monthly reporting for management purposes. I.E. vacation and absence reporting.
- Recognize and recommend opportunities for process improvements.
Your Skills & Experience: - Solid data entry skills
- 1 or more years experience of payroll processing
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong numerical skills
- Understanding of internal controls
- Communication Skills - verbal and written
- Attention to detail
- Problem Solving
- Teamwork
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline driven environment, appropriate sense of urgency
