The Embroidery Machine Operator job in Auburn, Maine is responsible for Preparing garments by selecting the proper backing and hooping per the job specifications. You will remove backing and clean up any loose threads to ensure quality and repair defective stitches when possible. You'll have a solid understanding of selecting proper apparel, logo, and location of embroidery for the job determined by the work order, as well as setting up the machine with the proper color thread. You will perform preventative and regular maintenance on the embroidery machines to ensure they are in good working order and Troubleshoot machines, escalating issues to the manager as needed. This is a full time, 1st shift, Temp to hire position.
Embroidery Machine Operator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar job preferred
• Working experience with Microsoft word and Excel
• Reliable and punctual with good work ethics
• Experience with Barudan software to direct the day's jobs to the embroidery machines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime when needed.
• At least 6 months experience of embroidery experience

• Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, M-F (flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime)
• Pay Rate: $17.69-23.01/hour
• Start Date: ASAP
