LHH is searching for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to assist our client's accounting department. The candidate will be responsible for data entry, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This position is ideal for an organized individual who enjoys working with numbers and has a strong attention to detail.
- Perform accurate data entry in financial records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Maintain financial records and files.
- Prepare invoices and process payments.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Address financial inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- Experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
