We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized
Accounting Clerk to join our team in French Camp, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities: - Mail Management: Organize and process undeliverable mail, ensuring accurate and timely distribution.
- Document Handling: Scan and upload documents to shared drives for efficient access and record-keeping.
- Stale Dated Checks: Research and process stale-dated checks, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Provider Refunds: Assist with email correspondence and inquiries regarding provider refunds.
- Department Communication: Liaise with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Reconciliation departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, handle data entry tasks, and assist with general office duties as needed.
- Audit Assistance: Help with internal audits by gathering and organizing required documents and data.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across departments to improve processes and ensure timely task completion.
Qualifications: - Previous experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under deadlines.
Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
