Job Summary

This role will join the Aspen Dental Product Management team. In this role you will have ownership for key functionality and components of our core patient management system platform, This platform is used by Aspen team members in our offices including clinical personnel (Doctors, Dental Assistants, Hygienists, etc.) and non-clinical personnel (Office Managers, Patient Support Reps., etc.). It is the backbone of our business from a systems perspective.



Core Competencies & Responsibilities:

User-Centered Focus: Proactively identify user pain points, analyze data, and recommend improvements while deeply understanding the product and its users.

Business Value Alignment: Frame recommendations around business value, creating models to show financial and operational benefits.

Effective Communication: Advocate for the product and users with clear problem statements, requirements, and user stories.

Agile and Collaborative: Work iteratively with UX, Business Analysts, and Developers to design and deliver product MVPs, refining toward the product vision.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Influence and motivate teams across departments to support product goals.

Stakeholder and Prioritization Management: Balance stakeholder needs, create roadmaps, and align teams through rigorous prioritization.

Results and Delivery Driven: Build measurable products with dashboards and reports, enabling teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Ethics and Values: Act with integrity and adhere to core values consistently.



Requirements/Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience. The preferred candidate will have a proven track record of helping healthcare organizations optimize and improve revenue cycle processes by not only implementing industry best practices, but also improving upon them.
  • Experience in medical/healthcare working on devices and/or software highly desired.
  • Demonstrated success in executing and directing product management activities in multiple areas.
  • Ideal candidate also has the technical and operations acumen to understand the implications of data, back-end services and operations on the user experience and vice versa.
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, design, statistics, economics, or marketing; MBA, MIS, or MS desired.
  • Clear passion about Aspen Dental’s mission and ability to identify possibilities in our industry.
  • Proven skills to collaborate with cross functional teams, and able to influence others to support decisions.
  • Ability to be self-directed to solve business issues in defined product area, to make decisions about and prioritize own work.
  • Entrepreneurial with a strong bias towards action.
  • Creativity in managing culturally diverse customers, changing requirements, and shifting priorities.
  • Passionate advocate for our customers and the user experience
  • Ability to learn multiple functional areas of business, including engineering, design, finance, sales, operations, and marketing

Annual pay range: $130,000-$150,000
