We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our HR team in Fort Lauderdale! The ideal candidate will support the HR team as a jack-of-all-trades and versatile contributor, with emphasis around payroll administration and employee onboarding.
This role is based onsite 3x a week in Fort Lauderdale.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the full recruitment and onboarding process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes and conducting interviews and extending job offers.
- Ensure a seamless new hire experience by maintaining regular communication, providing detailed pre-hire instructions/information and ensuring a smooth transition into every new team member's first day.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees are set up for success from day one.
- Administer payroll processing and related items.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related questions and issues.
- Work alongside other members of the HR team to develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent HR-centric customer service to all employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area.
- 5+ years' of experience working in Human Resources.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive attitude. Someone who enjoys being in an office.
