About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and committed Sr. Eminent domain attorney to join the Trial and Litigation Practice group, with a focus on eminent domain. This position is open to their San Diego, Los Angeles, or Oakland offices. Working with others in a team-oriented environment is essential. You will work closely with clients, firm partners, and other associates, contributing to a culture of mentorship and teamwork.

This firm offers a hybrid work schedule with a competitive compensation package , a low turnover rate, and a billable hour target of 1850 annually.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to Independently manage a caseload, experience with law and motion practice, including dispositive motions
  • Conducting case assessments, responding to discovery requests, and preparing litigation documents.
  • Prior experience in building a case for trial, including developing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and taking and defending depositions.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of defense litigation experience
  • Excellent academic credentials, outstanding analytical and creative thinking capabilities, superior research and writing skills, and a strong work ethic
  • Admitted to practice in California, with a strong preference for candidates in good standing with the CA State Bar.
  • Eminent Domain or real estate/real property experience is preferred but not required.
