Pay Rate: $61-$63/hour. Mileage reimbursed.

Job Overview:
The district is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Specialist (BCBA) to support K-12 students with behavioral challenges. The candidate will report to Program Specialist Mr. Richard Garcia and work closely with school staff and parents to promote positive behavioral outcomes. This role requires flexibility, as caseloads and assignments are fluid and can change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) for behaviorally challenged students.
- Perform observations and evaluations of students with behavioral referrals.
- Provide ongoing behavior-related training to school staff and parents on:
- Proactive behavior intervention strategies.
- De-escalation techniques.
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles as a form of early intervention.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and district leadership to develop and implement individualized behavior plans.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree (required).
- Certification: BCBA certification (required).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of school-based experience implementing ABA interventions and/or supervising programs for students with Autism (preferred).
- Experience conducting staff training and working with K-12 students.

- The role requires travel between school sites, with the district office serving as the primary base.
