Project Leader | Furniture Manufacturing


Position Overview : As a Project Leader, you will be the key liaison between the factory and designers, overseeing the successful management of furniture projects from concept to completion. This role requires a strong background in furniture manufacturing and technical project management. You’ll play a critical role in coordinating complex projects, bridging communication between clients, designers, and manufacturing teams, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Location: High Point, NC


Key Responsibilities :

  • Interpret and manage furniture construction drawings, including highly detailed specifications and manufacturing plans.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and other design tools to review and refine technical drawings.
  • Source and specify materials, including stones and finishes, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
  • Oversee the creation and review of comprehensive bidding documents.
  • Act as the primary liaison between customers and factories in Asia, ensuring clear communication and prompt follow-ups.
  • Ensure that all documentation, including specifications and design details, is accurate and sufficient for manufacturing.
  • Direct and coordinate with factory workers to meet production timelines and quality expectations.
  • Communicate with clients to clarify project details and address gaps in information.
  • Collaborate with Asian manufacturing teams to align on specifications and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Oversee and manage project timelines, ensuring that high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Take initiative in project planning and problem-solving.


Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in the furniture industry
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the furniture manufacturing industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of furniture construction, engineering, and material sourcing
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and familiarity with technical design documentation
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and prompt response
  • Experience managing international manufacturing processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
