Our client is a commodity trading company whose main focus is the merchanting of rare earth materials. They have solidified themselves as a trusted partner amongst a wide variety of consumers. They are looking for a Global Head of IT Infrastructure who will provide strategic leadership and oversight for IT infrastructure operations and engineering across the organization. This is onsite in Fairfield County, CT.

Global Head of IT Infrastructure’s Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead and optimize methodologies for IT service continuity, availability, and operational management.
• Oversee the development of configuration, incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Manage IT infrastructure budgets and ensure effective resource utilization.
• Identify and address gaps in IT methodologies, promoting redundancy and continuous improvement.

Global Head of IT Infrastructure’s Qualifications and Skills

• At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, including Cloud, networking, systems operations, and storage.
• Proven track record managing technical operations in large organizations.
• Experience leading teams of 10+ across global locations.
• Strong vendor and contract negotiation skills.
