Job Description

Hagood Injury Law is a personal injury law firm looking to hire a skilled Case Manager to join our growing team. You will assist in handling pre-suit cases from intake to settlement under the direction of the Managing Attorney and Associate Attorney. You should have excellent work ethic, time management skills, and great communication skills. If this sounds like you, apply today!


Job Duties:

  • Open new case files
  • Gather and analyze intake information and documents
  • Enter case details into CASEpeer
  • Fully investigate each case (requesting police reports, sending open record requests, etc.)
  • Maintain contact with clients on a regular basis and obtain treatment status 
  • Open claims and send letters of representation
  • Verify insurance coverage and communicate with insurance carriers
  • Open subrogation claims and verify existing liens
  • Draft demand packages for attorney review
  • Request medical records and bills
  • Organize and maintain case files
  • Assist with settlement negotiations under the direction of the attorney


Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years of personal injury Case Management experience
  • A good understanding of personal injury law, insurance coverage, and medical terminology 
  • Ability to be a team player and follow procedures 
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Bilingual is a plus


Compensation: 

  • Salary depending on experience
  • Opportunity for performance-based bonus


Schedule: 

  • Monday to Friday during normal business hours
  • Potential for hybrid schedule 


Location:  On Main Street within walking distance to Downtown Woodstock
