Summary

The Facility maintenance manager will be responsible for providing day-to-day direction and overseeing our facility maintenance associates. You will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are operating effectively, maintaining building equipment, and participating in food safety-required tasks.

Key Activities

• Ordering and maintaining parts inventory and building equipment as needed.
• Food manufacturing machinery upkeep and repair oversight, spin dryers, Urschel Slicers, Trans slicers, Crane System, GEM Water filtration system, Vincent Screw press system.
• Please help facility associates with day-to-day tasks as needed.
• General Facility Repair and Preventive Maintenance for 2 buildings located across the street from one another.
• Landscaping and Snow Removal Services.
• Food Safety requires paperwork, work orders, and documentation for all preventive maintenance.
• Backflow, elevator, HVAC, Refrigeration inspection services, and contract work oversight.
• Dock door and leveler systems repair.
• Main contact for contractors and system services like fire suppression.
• Manage a team of 4 facility maintenance associates, including a processing repair associate and a wastewater associate.

Preferred Skills

• Prior distribution or food industry experience a plus.
• Able to speak and write fluently in English, bilingual a plus.

Educations & Experience

• Minimum of 5 + years of facility maintenance experience, 2 plus years of Management experience.
• Commercial building maintenance experience a must.
