Position: Occupational Therapist - Ortho/Oncology - Roseville, MN

Location: 1835 County Road C West Suite 41, Roseville MN 55113

n

Schedule: 32 hours full time; Monday-Friday 7:00a.m.-5:30p.m.

n

Compensation:  32 hours full time starting at $57,500 and up commensurate with experience.

n

Incentives: $350/month indefinite student debt relief

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a Full Time (32 hours per week) Occupational Therapist with a special interest in oncology to join ouroutpatient orthopedic center! Caseload will be a mix of hands and oncology. We are willing to consider occupational therapists with a level II fieldwork in hands (required). We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support and are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to be a CHT.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
  • n
  • High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
  • n
  • Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
  • n
  • Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

Qualifications
n

Minimum Qualifications:

n
    n
  • Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Occupational Therapy
  • n
  • Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • n
  • CPR certified
  • n
  • Valid state driver's license
  • n
  • OP hand therapy experience or completion of level II fieldwork experience in OP hand therapy
  • n
n

Preferred Qualifications:

n
    n
  • At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
  • n
  • Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
  • n
  • Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
  • n
