The **Certified Sugical Tech **facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

_ Responsibilities: _
n
n- Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, medications, solutions, instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies. Ensures availability and functionality of equipment and instruments.
n- Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
n- Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
n- Receives and processes specimens, if required, for delivery to the laboratory.

Qualifications:

n- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
n- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) within twelve months of hire
n- CPR – Basic Life Support
n- ** Physical Demands Requirement ** :
n- Physical demands required for this role include lift/carry up to 50 pounds and a push/pull force up to 50 pounds
