Our client, a leading Global company in Pharma and Biotech is seeking a QA Associate to join their team.?

osition: QA Associate

Location: 8926 Ware Court, San Diego, CA 92121

n

Duration: 3 months (Potential for Temp-to-Hire)

n

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

n

Work Type: Onsite

n

Pay rate: $28 per hour

n

Position Overview:

n

The QA Associate will perform varied tasks under general supervision, following established protocols and work plans. This role involves inspecting materials, reviewing production batch records, ensuring compliance with FDA guidelines, and supporting quality assurance programs. The individual will collaborate with QA Specialists and Sr. Specialists while ensuring compliance with Environmental Health and Safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • n

    Inspect incoming materials for GMP production.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Assist in packaging floor activities (equipment/room approval, compliance auditing, label inspections, line clearance).

    n
  • n
  • n

    Review production batch records, logbooks, and associated documents.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Perform quality verification for just-in-time labeling activities.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Manage document issuance, scanning, filing, and archival processes.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Revise SOPs, Work Instructions, and Forms as needed.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Support efficiency improvement projects with guidance.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Ensure manufacturing, packaging, and testing comply with FDA guidelines, GxPs regulations, and internal SOPs.

  • n

    Participate in quality programs to ensure products meet established standards.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Respond and interact professionally with internal and external clients.

Requirements:

Education:

    n
  • n

    Associate’s degree or equivalent knowledge/experience.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Six Sigma or ASQ certification preferred.

    n
  • n
n

Skills/Experience:

    Ability to follow instructions in various formats (written, oral, diagram, schedule).

  • n
  • n

    Skilled in solving routine and non-routine problems.

  • n

    Proficiency in quality systems to classify and control material status.

  • n

    Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

  • n
  • n

    Organized and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices, cGMPs, and FDA/MHRA guidelines.

    Scientific and mathematical reasoning ability.
