Nuclear Medicine Technologist

City of Hope's growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and cancer treatment centers and outpatient facilities in the Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix areas.

The successful candidate:

*Sign-on bonus of $7500

Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5:00pm with rotating on call responsibilities for weekends and holidays

Professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for:

  • Patient assessment relative to the performance of Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures

  • Promotion of radiation safety

  • Demonstration of safe and effective patient care

  • Preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and the performance of scanning procedures for both in-patients and out-patients, working under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Radiologist.

  • Preparation and administration of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and microspheres under the direction of a Board-Certified Radiologist.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of approved School of Nuclear Medicine

  • A.R.R.T. registry in Nuclear Medicine or N.M.T.C.B. registry

  • Licensed in the State of Illinois

  • BCLS CPR Certification
