Located in the Theatre District, Hunt & Fish Club is an upscale Steakhouse. We are looking for a talented, hard-working, reliable and driven pastry cook to join our team!
Pastry Cook applicants should have strong production and plating skills, be able to close, be detail oriented, be able to maintain their stations MEP and be able to work in a fast paced manner.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Proper scaling of ingredients
- Maintain a clean, neat and organized work station
- Work well as part of a team
- Properly read dessert orders and plate them in a quick and efficient manner
- Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides, according to departmental standards
- Proper set-up of the service line (stocking, pars, pastry items)
- Prepare products and garnishes as needed for service line
- Maintain a calm attitude when in a stressful, chaotic environment
- Ability to multitask
Candidates should have a great attitude, willingness to learn, and availability to work Saturdays is required. Part-time and full-time positions available.
