This all starts with our greatest asset…our employees.nnWhat You Will Be Doing:nnAs a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician, you will be performing preventive maintenance on various types of customer/rental machines as per machine guidelines in a safe and timely manner on customer job sites.nnPrimary Responsibilities:nnDrive to customer’s job site daily to complete preventive maintenance.nnOperate heavy equipment to determine deficiency’s or performance issues daily.nnPerform all necessary preventive maintenance work for each specific interval service.nnComplete all work orders, time sheets & inspections from completed services.nnOperate service truck safely and comply with all regulations.nnMust be able to obtain a CDL license if requirednnAdditional Responsibilities:nnParticipate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.nnAdditional duties as assigned by manager.nnWho We Are Looking For:nnTo be successful in this position you should have a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of tools applicable to the position and the desire to learn. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.nnEducation/Experience:nnHigh school diploma or equivalentnnRequired Qualifications/Skills:nnMust have a mechanical background with 2 to 3 years of experience with heavy equipment, automotive, or on highway trucks.nnBasic computer skillsnnExcellent communication skillsnnCan work independently with little to no supervisionnnMust be able to work a flexible schedule, to include some nights and occasional weekendsnnCandidates missing one requirement will still be considerednnMust have a valid Georgia driver license, prefer Class B - CDLnnPreferred Qualifications/Skills:nnCourse work from accredited trade school, college or university with emphasis in mechanics, hydraulics, and automotive electronics is desirable.nnValues:nnAt Yancey Bros.
