We are looking to hire a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to cross train in PET/CT!nnThe Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for producing high quality diagnostic images of Nuclear Medicine studies. Special attention to radiation safety/regulations, including proper documentation and technique when working with patients and radioactive materials. Responsible for insuring effective communication with vendors and customers, including radiologists as necessary. In some instances, trains new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.nnSpecific duties include, but are not limited to:nnResponsible for producing high quality diagnostic images of Nuclear Medicine studies. Special attention to radiation safety/regulations, including proper documentation and technique when working with patients and radioactive materials.nnResponsible for patient safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique etc.nnEffectively communicates with customers and Radiologists.nnMay train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.nnPosition Requirements:nnHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.nnNMTCB or ARRT (N) required.nnState license, as required.nnCPR certification required.nnAs applicable, valid state driver’s license.nnAbility to work at several locations.nnStrong customer service skills.nnOrganizational and multi-tasking skills.nnBasic knowledge of computer applications and programs.nnLocal travel may be required.nnThe COVID-19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment.nnAll candidates who accept an offer for employment will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.nnPhysical Requirements:nnThe employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit.
