Title: Embroidery Manager
Salary: $75,000 per year

About the Position: The Embroidery Manager reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and manages our uniform business, tailoring, and Direct to Garment (DTG) operations. This role requires a proactive individual with extensive experience in embroidery management, attention to detail, and the ability to oversee multi-shift operations. The ideal candidate will ensure all projects meet quality standards and deadlines, manage temporary labor as needed, and work to elevate department performance to contribute to the company's success.
Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise the embroidery team, including training and performance evaluations.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to track productivity, quality, and efficiency, using data to drive improvements.
- Plan and schedule shifts to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workflow.
- Recruit, train, and manage temporary labor during peak production times.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to align with customer expectations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee machine maintenance, repair, and automation technologies to optimize production.
- Operate embroidery and sewing machines as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment and manage inventory levels.
- Stay informed on industry trends and new embroidery technologies.
About You: You are an experienced Embroidery Manager with a passion for operational excellence, collaboration, and taking on new challenges. Known for your responsiveness, attention to detail, and leadership, you excel in a fast-paced environment and have a strong sense of urgency balanced by thoughtful processes.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or related field (additional embroidery certification is a plus).
- 5+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- 3+ years of experience in an embroidery department.
- Strong leadership and team management skills across multiple shifts.
- Proven ability to develop and analyze KPIs.
- Skilled in operating and maintaining embroidery and sewing machines.
- Familiarity with Tajima, Brother printers, and bagging/folding embroidery machines is a plus.
- Experience with Design Shop software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience managing temporary labor is preferred.
- Background in apparel is a plus.

Pay Range: $50,000-$75,000 / Yearly
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
