This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Overview The Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking an administrative professional who would like to join DHR in an entry-level position. Daily work includes processing a high volume of data entry, answering email communications, providing new employee orientation and filing large amounts of paperwork. Processing paperwork is required during the hiring and on-boarding process of new employees as well as daily file management of personnel files. This person will start out as a 'floating' member of our administrative unit, working in the Waterbury State Office Complex. This person will be required to work in other DHR offices located in Montpelier, Barre or Waterbury as needed. The flexibility to work in different locations and the means to travel between them is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. We are looking for a professional who is detail oriented and can work effectively with all levels of employees and management, organize and prioritize work effectively and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced office environment. The ability to move from one task to another quickly and efficiently is needed. Working within deadlines is critical for this position. The Department is currently supporting a hybrid telework environment. Requests to telework will be considered, and in person work will be required.
