Description
The Technical Designer is responsible for the development of project specific details and the preparation and coordination of clear, concise drawings.
- Develop construction details that comply with the overall design intent, are cost effective and are easily constructed
- Prepare complete and concise design and construction drawings including checking and coordinating details and dimensions
- Conduct existing conditions surveys
- Research materials for specific projects
- Ongoing review and checking of the documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in checking submittals and responding to requests for information
Requirements
- Minimum of one to three years of relevant experience
- Experience in Revit and AutoCAD for building construction projects or equivalent education background
- Working knowledge of construction techniques and related coordinating details and dimensions
- Understanding of all current code requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or a related field
- Hybrid work environment, work onsite in our Redwood City or San Francisco office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without any restrictions or requirement of sponsorship now or in the future
The typical pay range for this position is $60,000 - $83,000 in total compensation. Compensation depends on the individual's skills, experience, education, and geographic location.
