Job Title: Protestant Religious Education CoordinatorJob Type: Part-TimeLocation: Davis-Monthan AFB, AZQualifications:Two years' experience in a similar or related field. A baccalaureate degree is recommended but not required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Proficient typing skills.Prior experience working with children ages infant to 18 years in a group setting.Possess or obtain within 90 days of contract start date First Aid, CPR, and Infant CPR training. Proof of training must be provided upon request.At least 21 years of age.Strong knowledge of Christian (Protestant) faith, practices, and traditions.Ability to perform required services with minimal direction.Ability to work effectively in the pluralistic environment of the U.S. Air Force Chaplain Corps.Mature command of speaking, writing, and reading in English.Duties:Provide administrative support for Protestant RE programs, including curriculum selection, budgeting, inventory management, and fund requests.Schedule, plan, and oversee Protestant RE activities such as AWANA, children's ministries, adult Bible studies, and VBS.Report to the lead Protestant chaplain and participate in quarterly meetings.Comply with mandatory contractor training and attend approved professional growth sessions.Assist in developing and managing budgets for Chapel Tithes and Offerings and appropriated funds.Coordinate and support Protestant volunteers, including recruitment, training, and event planning.Ensure accurate records of attendance, volunteer hours, and expenditures, and compile program statistics.Draft and manage publicity for Protestant RE programs, with approval from the Wing Chaplain.Submit after-action reports on events and maintain security and cleanliness of facilities.Oversee weekly education programs, maintain curriculum, and ensure a balanced educational approach.Keep updated records of enrollment, attendance, and volunteer staff, ensuring all safety requirements are met.Follow up with program visitors and absentee members.Attend all AWANA club nights to ensure security, safety, and program quality.
