As Customer Service Advisor , the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the relationship with Human Appeal's new and existing donors. Ensuring clear communication is provided when updating them on how their donation has been spent through explanation of Human Appeal's local and international projects and courteously endorsing their continued contribution.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Outbound/Inbound call center
- Handling customer inquiries via telephone and email
- Maintaining donor database by entering and updating customer information accurately via Salesforce
- Achieving set KPI targets
- Chasing/Processing pledge forms from events
- Processing/Chasing Orphan Renewals, failed payments, and cancelations
- Entering and updating information accurately in excel reports
- Keep up to date with the events within the Charity to satisfy Donor enquiries
- To attend and contribute positively to meetings, conferences and training courses as agreed with the supervisor
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, directors and the Human Appeal donors
- Other duties as per the request of the Donor Care Supervisor in the interest of the organization objectives
Note: Paid training will be provided for successful progress in this role. WHAT YOU WILL NEED EDUCATION/EXPERTISE: - High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office required

- Increase donor donations/retention
- Retain donors who may be thinking of moving to another Charity
- Pass on calls to the appropriate departments for enquiries
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Visual acuity to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal.Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.
- May require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand and walk.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or move light to medium weight up to twelve (12) pounds and/or exert up to twelve (12) pounds of force.
