Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist

Location: Remote (within one hour of Fort Wayne, IN 46802)


Job Summary: Join our client's dynamic team as an Administrative Support Specialist! In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks within your assigned area. Your support will ensure the smooth operation of our department, helping us deliver excellent service to our customers and maintain efficiency within our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review work order packets for accuracy and conduct journal entries for corrections.
  • Communicate effectively with internal groups such as Joint Use, Invoicing, and Field personnel via email and messaging.
  • Manage calendars, set up meetings, and secure locations.
  • Handle general correspondence and submit expense accounts.
  • Receive, screen, and direct incoming calls, visitors, mail, and e-mail with a friendly, helpful tone.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions or referring issues when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adjust to changes in priority and direction effectively.
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills in handling assignments beyond the routine level.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three years of administrative work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with timekeeping and financial systems is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to organize data and processes.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.


Additional Information:

  • This is a remote position, but you must live within an hour of the office for occasional meetings and presentations.
  • Training will be conducted onsite Monday-Thursday for at least two weeks.
  • Possible overtime is available based on workload.
