OrthoCarolina is seeking a qualified professional to join our team as a Weekend MRI Patient Services Specialist! This is a benefited position is 24 hours. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays 7am to 7pm, in our Matthews location.
The MRI Patient Service Specialist greets and registers patients and verifies, reviews patient demographic and insurance information for accuracy, completeness, obtains patient signatures and copies of patient insurance cards. Collect copays and other self-pay balances at the time of service, providing patients with the appropriate receipt. The MRI PSS also oversees waiting area and coordinates patient movement to MRI unit. The MRI PSS answers phone, screens calls, takes messages and provides information in pleasant and helpful manner.

• Prefer minimum of one year experience in medical clinic setting.
• Good customer and computer skills and working knowledge of insurance.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
