As an MRI Technologist, you are responsible for patient safety and the performance of high-quality MR studies, on site and/ or remote. Ensures effective communication with Radiologist, team members, patients, and customers for those who work in the mobile environment. When required, trains, and orients new technologists, Patient Coordinators and/or MR Technologist Assistants.nnSpecific duties include, but are not limited to:nnResponsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique and may require remote MR Technologists Assistant oversite.nnProduces high quality diagnostic images. Operation of multiple MR systems may be required.nnDemonstrates the ability to use all channels of communications to address concerns, solve problems, and address conflict.nnEffectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.nnTrains and orients new technologists, patient coordinators and MR Technologist Assistants, on site and/or remote.nnOther duties as assigned.nnPosition Requirements:nnHigh School Diploma or equivalent experiencennARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT.nnState license, if applicable.nnCPR CertificationnnValid state driver’s license, as applicable.nnTechnologists registered in other modalities: 3 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience OR currently enrolled for more than 6 months in an accredited MRI training program.nnMR registered technologist RT(MR) or ARMRIT: No experience requirednnAbility to work at several locations.nnStrong customer service skills.nnOrganizational and multi-tasking skills.nnBasic knowledge of computer applications and programs.nnThe COVID-19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment.nnLocal travel may be required.nnPreferred:nnAssociate’s Degree or equivalent experience.nnRegistry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT.nn1 year of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Experience.nnPhysical Requirements:nnThe employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit. The employee will be exposed to a strong magnetic field.
