Summary: Under supervision, provides support to surgical procedures by setting up operating rooms with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies. Functions as scrub person throughout procedure.
Formal Education Required - Completion of approved surgical technician program
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
Experience & Training Required - Ability to obtain BLS Certification
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications - Ability to operate sterilizers, adjust operating tables and accessory devices, and handle instruments
