Description The Client Service Associate plays a critical role in providing high-level support to both clients and advisors. This position manages complex client interactions, processes detailed account tasks, and handles escalated issues, ensuring seamless account openings, money movements, and paperwork processing. The Senior Associate coordinates across departments to ensure timely follow-ups, proactively drives process improvements, and oversees CRM data accuracy. With a comprehensive understanding of financial products and regulations, the Senior Associate may provide basic financial advice if Series 65 certified. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities: - Custodian interaction & paperwork processing:
- Process account openings, funding, deposit electronic checks, money movements, 401(k) rollovers, process tasks with Custodians.
- Schedule client meetings.
- Organize advisory team meetings and events.
- Involvement in company committees and/or firm-wide initiatives.
- Receive client calls and resolve questions or issues as needed.
- Prepare for and provide follow-up for client meetings:
- Prepare client forms and financial reports in advance of client meetings.
- Attend meetings to take notes and send a summary to both the client and the advisory team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of investment accounts, products and the forms required to transact business.
- Basic financial planning knowledge, including some experience with financial planning software.
- Lead internal coordination across departments to ensure all client tasks/follow-up is completed in a timely manner.
- Drive proactive process improvements for advisors and CSA team members.
- Responsible for cash transfers, wires, data maintenance, reporting and trading as needed
- Provide ongoing maintenance and quality control of CRM.
- Execute client appreciation and retention activities
- Upon obtaining the Series 65 license:
- Give basic financial advice
- Assist with 401(k) rollovers

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree
- 0-5+ years of experience
- Series 65 (preferred)
- Have or in the process of obtaining Certified Financial Planning (CFP) or similar designation (preferred)
