Work Schedule:

We are seeking a Pre/Post/PACU RN to deliver comprehensive perioperative and peri anesthesia care across several surgical specialties. Patient care is delivered in our First Day Surgery, Outpatient Surgery and Outpatient PACU Departments.
Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients by preparing them for surgery. This includes Perioperative Checklists, IV placement and Medication Administration.
  • Provide care in the Outpatient PACU. Critical care experience is required.
  • Develop a therapeutic relationship to enable the patient and family to verbalize understanding of post-surgical care and discharge teaching.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 6 months of RN experience Required
  • Experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations Preferred
  • Emergency nursing, critical care, medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgery center experience Preferred
  • Moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring experience Preferred
  • 1 year or more of RN experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
