Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Job Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Job Duration: 13-week assignment
Shift: 4 days, 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. On-call one day a week and one weekend a month.
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area.
License: Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License
Certifications: Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certificate upon hire, with requirement to maintain current status.
Must-Have: BLS, DCI/BVP
Job Description:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Observe and monitor patient conditions.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals for patient care planning.
- Assist in the preparation and recovery of patients for procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols within the Cardiovascular Lab.
- Demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patients' needs.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
- Commit to ongoing education and skill development related to cardiac catheterization procedures.
