Key Responsibilities
- Construct and repair wooden frameworks, such as decks, patios, and aluminum railings, with precision.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials accurately according to design specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects meet high-quality standards and deadlines.
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and fall protection measures.
- Participate in training programs and certifications to enhance skills and safety knowledge.
- Represent NW Decks Plus professionally and maintain excellent client relationships.
Qualifications - Open to all experience levels: from entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic to seasoned professionals.
- Willingness to learn and take part in safety and technical training programs.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project instructions (preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to perform carpentry tasks, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Experience with deck coating and deck waterproofing systems.
