Noksu is a 2024 Michelin Star Korean/French Fine Dining restaurant.
We are a 15 seat chefs counter with an 8 seat private dining room.
We are a small team who all wear many hats, and everyone plays an integral part in the dining room.
Experience in fine dining is ideal, along with with great communication and attention to detail.
We are looking for somebody eager to grow into a seasoned head sommelier. This person should love Korean Cuisine, Fine Dining, and love to sell wine~
This candidate should have experience creating wine programs, ordering, costing, and oversee a very organized inventory. Knowledge of wines and likes to engage with diners and directing their journey of which pairings best fit their needs is a must.
With the city having a plethora of somms we are looking for somebody hungry, driven, and a team player.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND BASIC DUTIES:
- Making recommendations on food and wine pairings.
- Ensuring that the wine cellar is fully stocked by unloading cases of wine and labeling once a week.
- Informing guests on the variety of wines available.
- Complying with health and safety regulations
