Job Summary

As an RN Student Nurse Extern, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting nursing staff with patient care and daily living activities.
• Coordinating patient care plans in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Monitoring and recording patient information consistently.
• Helping with patient mobility and transferring patients as needed.
• Educating patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Qualifications

Requirements for this position include:

• Current enrollment and good standing in an accredited nursing program.
• Completion of at least one year of nursing school is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
