The Work
The AML/ATF department within Compliance is responsible for the management of the Bank’s AML/ATF risk through the implementation and monitoring of effective controls. As a key member of the growing AML Operations and Analytics team, the Associate Manager, Operations and Analytics will report to the Associate Director, Operations and Analytics, and play a vital role in supporting the team’s data-related projects and initiatives. This includes overseeing database management and design, managing ETL processes, ensuring data completeness and accuracy, and identifying and addressing any data gaps. This essential role will support ongoing and future projects by ensuring the AML team operates with reliable and robust data.
The Core Responsibilities!
  • Data Management Initiatives: Serve as the primary point of contact to ensure AML team access to reliable data and represent the team on all data-related matters. Keep the Associate Director of Operations and Analytics updated on progress, key issues, and project status.
  • Database Management and Design: Oversee and, when necessary, independently handle database design, implementation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • ETL Processes: Manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer between systems.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data completeness and accuracy by identifying and addressing gaps or missing information.
  • Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to uphold data integrity and meet regulatory standards.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to support informed decision-making, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor team members on best practices for data management and utilization.
  • Support to Associate Director: Provide ongoing support to the Associate Director of AML Operations and Analytics.

Let's Talk About You!
  • Degree in Computer Science or IT, Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in database-related role (Database Administrator (DBA), Data Architect, ETL Developer, SQL Developer, Database Manager).
  • Working knowledge of the database management & design is required.
  • Working knowledge of the ETL processes is required
  • Proficient in SQL, AzureDatabases.
  • Quick in learning and getting acquainted with new software and processes.
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and well organized
  • Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Should be able to work in a team setting and will work closely with other organizational managers to support their projects.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and independently with high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities (multi-tasking).
