Job Title: Business Analyst

Contract: 24 months

Location: Toronto, ON (3 days per week on-site)

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and understand Functional and Non-Function business requirements from key Stakeholders
• Facilitate meetings with development team
• Create Low-res mockups of reports
• Perform UAT and UI validation against business requirements
• Pull data from MS SQL to validate business metric logic and aggregations
• Coordinate French translations
• Metric definition documentation
• Project Planning
• Prepare launch communications

ust-have Skills:

• 5-9 years of related work experience as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects.
• Expertise in SQL Query
• 2-3 years of experience with database and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau).
• Proven experience in Metric Creation & Report Visualization.
• Proficiency in performing testing, creating comprehensive test plans, and writing detailed use cases to validate requirements.
• 2-3 years of functional testing and data validation.
• 2-3 years of working in Banking/ Financial Institute - Must (Commercial banking is highly preferred).
• 2-3 years of experience on working with data/reporting projects.
• Mix of Technical skills, business acumen and Great interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification.
• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• While translation is handled by a separate team, familiarity with French is advantageous for collaboration.
• Agile SCRUM/Kanban training.
• Jira and Confluence Experience.
• Experience with Intelligent Design.
• Experience with webpage/graphic design.
