We promote individual and collective growth within the community by redefining affordable housing.nnDescriptionnnProject Manager Positon- Construction SupervisornnOversee construction at CBE's projects, including both new construction and preservation projects.nnEnsure work is completed to the highest professional standards, on time, and within budget. Work with the design and construction teams to mitigate risks. Communicate with the real estate team and CBE leadership about progress and any concerns.nnWork with the design and construction teams to make decisions in the best interest of residents and ownership. As some examples, decisions range from resident relocation strategies to finish selection to sustainability strategy, and more.nnCoordinate with property management and residents for access, communicate expectations, and help minimize disruptions to residents in preservation projects.nnOversee capital projects in CBE's existing operating buildings.nnProactively identify when CBE should initiate the physical needs assessment process and select and hire engineers.nnSelect a design team based on an RFP process for significant capital projects.nnWork with managing agents and design teams to develop scopes of work, select contractors, and oversee construction for significant capital projects.nnEnsure local law compliance and proactively plan for compliance cycles.nnAdvise on construction strategy and scope of work for predevelopment projects.nnWork with the real estate team to select the design and construction partners.nnParticipate and advise on design decisions during the scoping process.nnSalary Range: 105K-200K AnnuallynnPosition RequirementsnnQualificationsnnBachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.nnAt least 7-10 years of experience in construction management, preferably in affordable housing or multifamily residential projects.nnStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and regulations.nnExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.nnAbility to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.nnProficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and CAD software.nnExperience in both new construction and preservation.nnLocation CB EmmanuelnnEOE Statement Shinda Management Corporation is committed to workplace diversity and inclusion.
