Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

Skilled Nursing Facility

Topeka, IL

$115,000 - $135,000 + benefits


We are currently assisting a market leading organization in the hunt for a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead daily operations of a Skilled Care Nursing facility in Topeka, Illinois. We are looking for someone who is Licensed within the state of Illinois to lead a skilled nursing facility, with prior experience overseeing a long term care facility with over 40 beds.


It is a small-mid sized facility- with 88 beds - that provides long term care and short term rehabilitation to adults and geriatrics including Wound care, Memory care, Respiratory, IV services, Diagnostics and Pain management. The service belongs to a diverse and growing healthcare provider with a number of other services in the region and over 40 services in total spanning 4 states.


The Administrator leads and directs the overall operation of the facility in accordance with resident needs, federal and state government regulations and company policies/procedures so as to maintain quality care for the residents while achieving the facility’s business objectives.


Requirements of the role


- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Illinois

- Proven ability to manage facility finances and improve census/occupancy

- Exceptional knowledge of developmental factors which impact the lives of elderly residents at the facility including – physical, cognitive and socialization factors.

- Training and performance management of all staff within the facility including clinical and operations.

- Communicating corporate values to all staff and ensuring exceptional levels of care are delivered at all times.

- Ensuring adequate levels of staffing through various recruitment initiatives.

- Extensive knowledge of state, federal and local regulations governing the delivery of Long term care in Illinois.
