Responsibilities:
- Assist the Investment Team in handling the lifecycle management of broadly syndicated loans, including settlement processes, funding coordination, and loan servicing.
- Monitor and update financial models and calculations while ensuring pre-trade and post-trade compliance in line with governing documents.
- Maintain oversight of portfolio and asset-level attributes.
- Supervise external service providers, such as loan administrators and trustees.
- Build and sustain relationships with loan agencies and trading counterparties.
- Review and analyze daily reconciliations of cash, positions, and trades.
- Evaluate and manage loan and deal documentation and related agreements.
- Reconcile loan transactions and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare and review internal and external deliverables, including investor requests, regulatory reports, internal data analyses, and ad-hoc loan projections.
- Serve as a liaison across departments, including Portfolio Management, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Product Strategy, and Tax.
- Contribute to process automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage vendor contract negotiations when required.
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 6–10 years of experience in loan operations, loan administration, or related fields, with an emphasis on broadly syndicated loans and CLO or borrowing base compliance.
- Strong familiarity with loan documentation, credit agreements, and associated legal agreements.
- Proven expertise in managing trade compliance, CLO models, or borrowing base tests.
- Experience in cash and position management for broadly syndicated loans.
- Capability to design and implement new operational workflows for credit strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- A meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to deliver accurate financial reviews and timely project completions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word; experience with trading and operations systems is a plus.
