Field Technician

One of IDR’s top clients in the is seeking a Field Technician to join their team in the Chicago, IL area!

This position will require roughly 90% travel!

Responsibilities of the Field Technician:

• Operating and troubleshooting machinery
• Installing staging equipment for machine tools on customer sites
• Analyzing and documenting machine information and site conditions
• Training customers so they understand how to operate and maintain the machines
• Heavy travel to regions in need of support

Required skills/experience of the Field Technician:

• 1+ years experience working with machinery
• Experience providing technical field support
• Experience installing and troubleshooting software and hardware
• Ability to follow directions and eager to constantly learn
