Duration: 6 months contract

Responsibilities:

• Proficiency with CRISPR nuclease screening.

• Experience with NGS library preparation and INDEL calling using Illumina sequencing platforms.

• Lead TLA and long-read sequencing efforts using PacBio and/or Oxford Nanopore technologies. • Support process improvements for increased speed and efficiency to generate highly productive, high quality, robust cell lines that meet all regulatory requirements with high quality documentation.

• Willing to learn hands-on laboratory operations such as molecular biology, shake flask, bench scale bioreactor and Client culture platforms.

• Contribute to written technical reports, Regulatory filing support, present in group meetings, and work cross-functionally to achieve common goals.

Skills:

• CRISPR nuclease screening.

• NGS library preparation and Illumina sequencing platforms.

• Experience in statistics and data analysis (e.g. JMP, Spotfire).

• Experience designing, constructing, and evaluating vectors to express recombinant proteins of various formats.

• Technical report writing, presentation skills and aptitude for creative problem solving.

• Organizational and planning skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and adhere to timelines.

• Ability to think critically and demonstrated troubleshooting skills.

Experience and education:

• B.S/M.S. and 10+ years, Ph.D. and 0-2+ years of experience in a relevant scientific discipline (Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering).
