Job Overview

The HR Business Partner - Global Mobility and HR Operations is responsible for managing and streamlining global mobility programs and HR operational processes to support the expatriation group. This role acts as a strategic partner to business leaders and expats, ensuring alignment of HR strategies with business objectives, while delivering an exceptional employee experience.


Key Responsibilities

Global Mobility

  • Develop and manage end-to-end global mobility programs, including relocation, immigration, and expatriate assignments.
  • Partner with external vendors to ensure compliance with immigration laws, tax regulations, and global mobility policies.
  • Advise employees and leadership on mobility-related issues, including compensation, tax, benefits, and cultural adaptation.


HR Operations and Business Partner

  • Support expat’s lifecycle activities (onboarding, offboarding, transfers, etc.).
  • Lead efforts to optimize HQ and local HR systems and tools to drive efficiency and user experience.
  • Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to address global mobility matters.
  • Maintain and update expat policies to ensure compliance with local, regional, and global regulations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to expat group, providing guidance on daily HR operations.
  • Partner with HQ and local team to deliver HR projects and initiatives aligned with business priorities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of workforce data for internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Bilingual Chinese and English (Mandatory)
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on global mobility or HR operations.
  • Knowledge of global employment laws, immigration requirements, and tax implications
